SHANA D. GORDON
THEATER ARTIST/ACTIVIST
ABOUT ME
I am a proud Long Island native, and had my start with theater at the age of 12 years old. I was lucky to be surrounded around people that gave me the opportunity to utilize the creative mind I had been developing. My passion for acting and singing started from a very young age, and my passion for directing and producing became present once I was in college. I’m so fortunate to have an incredible job that I love which both challenges and fulfills me. Yet, none of what I do would be as meaningful to me without family, friends, and colleagues to share it with.
UPCOMING PROJECTS
WORKING HANDS THEATER COLLABORATIVE
Working Hands Theatre Collaborative is a new company that has been developed by SUNY Fredonia college students and alumni. I am currently the Executive Director for WHTC. We are a company that prides itself on doing work that is both inclusive, and creative. We also are huge advocates for collaboration between the actors and the designers.
This semester we will be unfortunately cancelling all projects, due to COVID-19. It saddens us deeply, but we know it is for the best, so people stay healthy and safe! We are looking forward to collaborate once again!
